Online Facilitator Skills Self-Assessment



Our goal is to ensure that the best online facilitators work with our online participants. Research indicates that there is a different skill set for high-quality face-to-face instruction than that for high-quality online facilitation. The attributes listed below are critical to successful online facilitation for PLS 3rd Learning. Our training requires a significant time commitment and a demonstration of the following skills and attitudes. Use this tool to determine if you possess the skills and attitudes we require. We want you to clearly understand the criteria we are imposing so that you can reflect and determine if this is a step you wish to take.
If you are unable to honestly respond with ALWAYS to each prompt, facilitating online for PLS 3rd Learning may not be for you.
